	D Dave Shields grew up on, in and around the water in Atlantic Beach, Florida. An avid diver, boater and outdoorsman, Dave is an expert in all aspects of marine maintenance, underwater inspection and repair, underwater construction and underwater welding and burning Dave is a graduate of Commercial Diver's Academy in Jacksonville Florida in addition to be a long-time NAUI Certified recreational diver. A former industrial carpenter and contruction worker, Dave brought those skills with him to the sea becoming a professional mixed gas commercial diver working off-shore platform, ship based and land deployed jobs from the Gulf of Mexico through the Texas gulf coast to Florida. Dave's certifications include: Underwater welding and burning, NDT I & II, ADC Air/Mixed Gas, Rigging Certified, and Marine Construction. Dave is also a Certified Dive Medical Specialist and a Certified Hyperbaric Medical Technician.
